Established for over 100 years, Law Debenture today provides a wider range of services than ever before including corporate and pension trusts, agent for service of process, treasury management, corporate services including for special purpose vehicles, structured finance administration and whistleblowing services (“Safecall”). Law Debenture is now starting a new service in board effectiveness and corporate governance. This job is to help the director to set up the new business unit.

What is the job?
Law Debenture now requires a graduate business analyst to help with the start up of a new business in services to company boards. The director setting up the new business is looking for a bright analytical graduate to help her establish surveys and metrics and a business intelligence service on corporate governance and board performance. The new graduate will also help to set up a best practice forum on corporate governance for non-executive directors and company executives. In the first instance we will be setting up a survey capability, a database of questions and metrics, and high quality reporting and newsletters. Our customers will be senior business people so our standards must be the highest. Eventually there will be an opportunity to lead and design specific surveys with clients. This is a full time, permanent position.
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree at 2.1 or above in an analytical and quantitative subject such as economics or psychology, strong interest in business
• Strong analytical skills, high level numeracy, good statistics and high quality written communications
• Good MS Excel skills, knowledge of databases an advantage
• Knowledge of questionnaire and survey design an advantage
• A self starter who can organise their own time with the drive and commitment to deliver flexibly to meet business needs
• A strong team ethic to contribute in different ways as the business and the team grows
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and senior clients in a professional, business-like manner
